Thorpe Ward Residents’ Association (formerly Thorpe Ratepayers’ Association) was established on 2nd March 1938 to represent the interests of householders in Thorpe Ward which consists of approximately 2,200 homes. Committee meetings are held on the second Monday of the month. Members of the association are welcome to contact the Association with any issues that may be of concern. An Open Forum session is held at 7.30pm for half an hour prior to the start of the Committee meetings for the membership to raise issues and concerns with the Committee and attending councillors. We would like to remind residents that you are NOT automatically a member of the resident association, but rather need to join the association. We hope all residents will ensure that their household has current membership and support the work of the association. Membership starts on the 1st January of each year.
